We just finished preparing our first care package to be sent to Katie at her foster home. Joe should be taking it to Fed Ex tomorrow! Here is what we included:
- Pink fuzzy bunny blanket
- 3 footies ranging in size from 3 to 6 months (as we are not sure what she will fit into)
- 1 pink outfit that comes with matching booties, bib and hat (it's pretty cute)
- Pack of 5 Onesies
- 1 pack of wiggle proof socks
- Book "Guess How much I Love you"
- Plastic photo album with pictures of Joe and I , our pet rabbits and extended family
- CD recording of Joe reading the book and me narrating the photo album
- 2 Disposable cameras (so the foster family can take pictures for us of Katie and them with Katie)
Maybe we are going a little overboard here but it is hard not being with her.
Well, that is really all we have to report other then waiting. Just about one month until our hearing date and things can proceed quickly or slowly after that. I am starting to go a little bit crazy with the waiting. Good thing Joe is so calm and keep me in line!
